tyler wx weather-stngr-5 weather-main-4 the sunshine returned today, but those clouds will be moving back through for tonight. that will lead to the chance for a few flurries later this evening and into early friday morning. weather-live-2 today's sunshine was a nice break from the light snowfall and windy conditions we say yesterday, but snow lovers don't fret! another round of light accumulation will hit us tomorrow as a quick moving clipper system heads our way from the north. this system will help raise our temperatures overnight but we'll still be remaining under that freezing point. we'll begin to see light flurries begin tomorrow in the early afternoon and then switch over to more of an accumulative snowfall by the early evening. winds will pick up as well due to the clipper system creating another night of blustery conditions. as of now, southern minnesota is looking at anywhere from a trace amount to an inch, while northern iowa will stay mostly dry. in rochester, i'm meteorologist sara knox with kimt news 3. the sunshine returned today, but those clouds will be moving back through for tonight. that will lead to the chance for a few flurries later this evening and into early friday morning. another clipper system will move through our area friday and this will lead to some more light snow. this will be similar to what we saw yesterday, but the further east of i-35 that you go there will be some slightly higher accumulations. accumulations will be around a half inch at best the further east of i-35 you go. otherwise, this will blow around like it did yesterday. plan on the wind picking up friday night back to speeds around 15 to 25 mph. the weekend will be quiet with partly cloudy conditions for both saturday and sunday. highs on saturday will be in the lower 20's and then will turn around and be in the mid to upper 30's for sunday. a couple of clipper systems will move through early next week which will bring light snow back to the area monday and tuesday. these systems won't be enough to produce even an inch of snow. tonight: increasing clouds/flurries possible. lows: lower to mid teens. winds: west becoming southwest at 5 to 10 mph. friday: mostly cloudy/light pm snow. highs: upper 20's to around 30. winds: west at 10 to 15 mph. friday night: light snow early/mostly cloudy. lows: mid to upper teens. winds: west becoming northwest at 15 to 25 mph. thank
