6-foot, 7-inch Lynnville-Sully forward Corey Gifford scores 21 points in a 59-to-43 win over Bishop Garrigan.
Bishop Garrigan struggled in the second quarter. The Golden Bears were outscored 15-3.
“A couple times it would look like we would get a bucket or steal and we couldn’t convert,” Bishop Garrigan coach Roger Froehlich said. “I don’t know how many blocks they had, it had to have been a lot.”
The Golden Bears finish the season 18-8.
Lynnville-Sully will face Calamus-Wheatland in the 1A State Semifinals.
