Shortage of high school officials in Iowa

The IHSAA is out to improve recruitment and retention of officials before it's too late.

They aren't calling it a crisis quite yet but the shortage of high school athletic officials is becoming a problem in the state of Iowa. Now officials in our area a part of the North Iowa Officials Association are doing their best to recruit new, young talent with a passion for sports.
