Mason City man arrested for sexual abuse charge stemming from February of 2016

According to court documents, Grell met the victim at Southbridge Mall on Feb. 29 of last year.

Mason City, Iowa – A Mason City man was arrested Tuesday night in connection to an alleged sexual assault from February of 2016.
Paul Grell, 20, is facing a felony third-degree sexual abuse charge and is being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail.
According to court documents, Grell met the victim at Southbridge Mall on Feb. 29 of 2016 and the two went to Grell’s house at 24 14th St. NE in Mason City.
The criminal complaint states Grell had intercourse with the victim against her will.
A warrant for Grell’s arrest was issued May 23.
