Gamers come together for Dungeons and Dragons 'This gets kids off line and meet people in person'

The event was coordinated by the owner of D6 Games in Rochester.

ROCHESTER, Minn.- An event at the public library is bringing gamers together through the role playing game dungeons and dragons.
Nathan Fursa organized the event and is also the owner of D6 Games.
He tells us that holding an event like this is more than just playing the game. It’s about starting new friendships.

“I’ve seen kids start off as a really shy person but they play a character they're not shy. They’re not socially awkward. they're a brave fighter.”

He adds it's important to have different community events for everyone and that people attending the dungeon and dragons event seemed more confident.

“This gets kids off line and meet people in person,” said Fursa.
They host a weekly dungeon and dragons game meeting every Wednesday at D6 Game store in Rochester.
