ROCHESTER, Minn. – A woman is facing multiple charges for allegedly assaulting someone with a knife at the Paragon Chateau Theater parking lot.
Authorities say 30-year-old Jessica Smith, of Rochester, is facing charges for second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, domestic assault, disorderly conduct and possibly stalking related to an incident late Tuesday night.
A 28-year-old man was out with a 29-year-old female friend and they had just left a movie and were sitting in a vehicle when the man’s ex-girlfriend allegedly opened the passenger side door and grabbed the woman.
Smith allegedly pulled out a knife and cut the man across the chest and left superficial wounds. The man was lunging over the passenger seat, authorities said.
