Grafton House Fire

MASON CITY, IA---Fire Investigators are still trying to figure out the cause of an early Sunday morning house fire in Worth County.

A passerby reported seeing flames around 5 a.m. 36-hundred block of Warbler Avenue, that's about 2 miles South of Grafton.

The property owners told authorities no one had lived in the home for several years.

There were no utilities hooked up to the structure.

A State Fire Marshal looked at the rubble on Sunday.

The home is considered to be a total loss.
