MASON CITY, IA - The CEO of Winnebago Industries says they are starting to see profitable sales. The company’s second quarter results are in and they are seeing a revenue increase of 247%.
Bob Olson, Chairman and CEO of Winnebago Industries says this time last year the company hit its lowest shipment level in over a decade.
"We're not where we want to be yet, obviously I want to hire more people and I want to build more units and get back to some real profitability, but that will come. But it's going to take some time."
Olson says he will watch carefully over the next month to see if trends continue. He hopes the warm weather will get people buying again.
