ALBERT LEA, MN--Minnesota's largely known as a free thinking state. And they may have just found their new candidate.

Steve Wilson has been officially endorsed by the independent party to make a run for U.S. Congress in the 1st congressional district, which covers southern Minnesota. He now resides in Rochester but is originally from a farm in Houston County.

He's campaigning against incumbent Tim Walz (D) and Republican Randy Demmer. Wilson says Minnesota voters are really ready to bring a change to Washington that includes stopping negativity, while controlling spending.

Wilson says, "Why not be the state that introduces a new style of politics to America. We can do this. Innovation is not just for technology. Innovation can also be for politics."

Wilson is challenging the democratic Walz to "show his cards" and come up with a "solutions" plan, just as Wilson has come up with a solutions plan. He used a grassroots team of first district voters to create specific strategies for the problems facing America.

Wilson would like to show people who really has the better plan.

You can take a look at Wilson's Solutions Report by heading to his website at www.StevenWilson.org and clicking on the "solutions" tab.
