MASON CITY, IA--
There's more information about a man and his missing dog.Police believe Tony Jones took his canine from a Mason City animal hospital last Friday.
Authorities say it is a vicious animal and a judge ordered it be put to sleep.
The veterinarian at the clinic said Jones came in to visit and walked out the door with the dog.
“I was trying to watch and make sure that everything went allright,” said Dr. Jeff Cornick, the hospital’s veterinarian. “He still hurriedly walked out the front door.”
Police said Jones could face charges of harboring a vicious animal and interfering with official acts.
