NORTHWOOD, IA--Two men are in custody following a North Iowa drug bust.
The Worth County Sheriff's Office executed a
joint search warrant on Thursday with t
he Iowa National Guard, t
he North Iowa Narcotics Task Force, and t
he Iowa State Patrol. The search warrant was served at a home just East of Northwood
located at 1641 480th Street. According to a press release, officers seized
a large marijuana growing operation along with a large amount of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and guns. Officers arrested
Eric Scott Francis and
Brent Alan Murphy. Francis is being held on charges of Possession with intent to deliver Marijuana.
Murphy is being held on charges of Possession with intent to deliver Methamphetamine.
