ALBERT LEA, MN--Residents of a local nursing home were showing off their Twins pride, proudly Wednesday.

The Minnesota Twins caravan stopped in Albert Lea, at Thorne Crest Retirement Community to talk with folks.

New pitcher Liam Hendriks and short stop player Brian Dozier were on hand.

As well as former Manager Tom Kelly who led the team to two world series in 1987 and 1991.

Thorne Crest Activities Director Marilyn Claassen says, "During the season our residents, when the Twins are on the west coast, when they're having late games, our residents are staying up. So in the morning the next day, its really hard because they're tired, just like I am. But they're really Twins fans around here".

Players answered questions from the life-long fans as well as talked a little bit about their upcoming season, and thanked everyone for their support.
