HANLONTOWN, IA--
Saturday night we told you about an anhydrous ammonia leak in Hanlontown.
Emergency responders, including the Mason City hazmat team were called in.
We talked to Hanlontown's mayor Sunday, he said it ended up not being a big deal.
He said workers cleaned an empty anhydrous ammonia tank.
They stored the water used to clean that tank in another container--and it was that container that had the leak.
The mayor said about fifty gallons of water got out onto the ground.
