More Americans are finding work--at least on a temporary basis. The U.S. Department of Labor is saying that 48,000 temp jobs were added last month.
Temp jobs have been increasing since hitting a low last September.
The department of Labor says more than 280,000 temp jobs have been added since then.
The manager of Express Employment Professionals in Mason City says they're seeing an increase too. “Yes on the whole we're seeing a little bit more, it still does get to be, you know peaks and valleys,” said Holly Eichmann, the manager of Express Employment Professionals. “We'll see a lot of people that are needed but again it's hard to forecast for any long period of time.”
Eichmann says they are seeing open positions in things like office services and manufacturing.
