Worth Co. Farm Accident

KENSETT, IA---A North Iowa teenager is recovering in a Mason City hospital after he is hurt on a Kensett area farm on Saturday.

The Worth County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call from the Mike Hanson farm on 3961 Pheasant Avenue.

Alex Hanson, 18 got caught in an auger.

By the time fire/rescue squad members arrived at the scene, Hanson had been freed from the auger.

He is listed in fair condition at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa.
