FRANKLIN COUNTY, IA - Starting this weekend, folks can take their best shot at the North Hansell Shooting Complex. There's several different ranges, including rifle, pistol, and trap.
Organizers are concerned the short supply of handgun ammunition will discourage people from using the range. But if you've got the bullets, shooting at the complex won't cost you a dime. It's completely run by volunteers and donations.
The shooting complex is open Saturdays from 10:00-5:00, Sundays from 1:00-3:00, and Thursday nights from 5:00-7:00.
