RAGBRAI's rolling into North Iowa this summer, and local hosts are planning for the big event.
Clear Lake's RAGBRAI chair Diane Thompson says this month is all about getting everything coordinated.
The board is working to get forms out, volunteers ready, and food vendors set-up. After a trip to des moines the board picked the theme "surf's up" for the town.
They chose that mainly because of their main attraction.
Clear Lake's RAGBRAI Chair Diane Thompson said, "one of our segments of entertainment will be a beach party that afternoon at city beach. we'll have a band and some inflatable and some fun things to do for families and for the kids that come along with RAGBRAI."
Thompson says during the meeting in Des Moines they were also able to get some ideas from former host towns.
