Stewartville, MN- An Austin man is accused of sexually abusing two of his third grade students. Francis Skinness, 63, is a teacher at an elementary school in Stewartville. A criminal complaint shows one of the girls went to the Mayo Clinic for treatment of sexual abuse in late April. One nine year old claims he touched her under her shirt and another claims Skinness would press himself against them and have them take turns sitting in his lap.
An investigation has lead to criminal charges against Skinness. He's facing two counts of criminal sexual conduct in the second degree. Investigators say Skinness denies the allegations and says he doesn't remember doing the alleged act, but if he did it was unintentional.
