MASON CITY, IA - A north Iowa woman is heading off to Los Angeles to see the Grammy Awards live.
Deanne Wagner of Stacyville won the KIMT Grammy Awards Contest and will be at the show live on February 12.
Wagner, who works in Austin, says it's been awhile since she's been able to take a vacation. She knew if she wanted to go on one this year she'd have to take matters into her own hands.
“I've really wanted to take a vacation over the last couple years and I thought the only reason I could take one is if I won and I registered every day to see if I could win this trip to LA,” said Wagner.
Wagner will receive a two-night hotel stay, tickets to the Grammy’s and official after party, admission to the Grammy Museum and a $300 gift card.
