MASON CITY — Mason City Police are investigating an alleged assault, which included a possible stabbing, at the Mason City High School Monday afternoon.
Scott Stricker, 15, was treated and released from Mercy Medical Center — North Iowa after an incident involving two students, while waiting for a bus at around 3:50 p.m. Monday.
Devin Michael Flores, 15, Mason City, has been charged with aggravated assault, a misdemeanor, in the incident.
Flores was released to a relative Monday night.
Police say the incident involved an assault and a possible stabbing, but details are still being gathered as the incident remains under investigation.
