Search Warrants Lead to Forest City Arrests

Burglary Suspect

FOREST CITY, IA---A pair of men are in the Winnebago County jail after a Forest City Police search turns up stolen stuff.

On Tuesday, Forest City officers served search warrants on a boarding house and the Village Chateau Motor Lodge.

They found stolen property from the Krysilis Developmental Center and another recent burglary in Winnebago County.

Ryan Lee Kite, 32, of Forest City is facing charges of burglary, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and 9 counts of possession of prescription drugs.

John Jay Hein, 20, of Forest City is facing charges of burglary, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said the investigation is continuing and others will be charged.
