MASON CITY, IA—A Mason City man is in jail after police serve a search warrant Tuesday afternoon.
At around 4:30 p.m., Investigators went to 242 8
th Street Southeast.
Police were looking for stolen property in connection with house burglaries that happened on March 15
th and 17
th.
Police report some property was recovered, and they said additional arrests could happen.
Officers arrested Shay Everett Carpenter, 28, of 242 8
th Street Southeast.
He is accused of failure to appear, driving while barred and a probation revocation.
Carpenter is being held at the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $7,500 bond.
