ROCHESTER, MN--A Rochester man is expected to make his first court appearance on Friday.

Mitchell Lee Good, 30 is facing several charges after he is arrested following a day long search.

Good is accused of forcing an ex-girlfriend and her 3 year old into a car on Tuesday night and they drove to the 7000 block of 65th Street northwest in Olmsted County.

Some unidentified witnesses reported seeing Good stabbing the woman on a roadside.

When they confronted him, he ran away.

That led to a large search which ended about 24 hours later when Good went to a business in the Douglas area to use a telephone.

The Olmsted County jail reports Good is charged with first degree attempted murder, second degree assault, domestic assault, false imprisonment and making terroristic threats.

He is currently being held without bond.

The woman is recovering with what are described as non-life threatening injuries.
