Hancock County, IA- The Hancock County Sheriff's Office is receiving calls about some suspicious people possibly approaching children. Deputies are asking anyone with information to contact their local authorities.
A dispatcher says they've received calls about a suspicious large green vehicle and a white van. In both cases, callers have described two African American men inside. The dispatcher says it's believed a child was approached and offered candy. In another situation, a caller claimed the two men were driving by a local playground slowly, taking pictures of the children playing.
The two men have been seen in both Garner and Britt. There is no other information available. Contact your local authorities if you have any information.
