AUSTIN, MN -  It's not quite green eggs and ham.

In this case, it's pink pancakes. More than 400 people feasted on that unique breakfast this morning at St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

It's part of Austin's Paint the Town Pink campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer. Organizers tell us they're excited to be part of the effort and help raise money for a worthy cause.

"The Bruins did it last year and it was such a big success in one night, so this year it was a whole weekend. It's really cool to drive downtown and see all the pink ribbons and it really goes to a good cause for cancer research," said Neal Hull, who organized the pancake breakfast.

All the money raised at Paint the Town Pink events will go to the Hormel Institute for breast cancer research.

On Saturday at their Paint the Rink Pink hockey game, the Austin Bruins raised over $31,000 dollars.
