FOREST CITY-forest city is creating a new parking lot, but it's not for your car.
A bike parking lot will be going in to this space and will hold around 25 cycles. Along with bike racks, city leaders say there's public art going into the spot.
The art is created by two local and internationally known artists . It is a way for the city to encourage folks to be green.
Project Manager, Pat Galasso, "here in Forest City we started thinking about some green initiatives and we have quite a few people who work down town forest city so we thought when the seasons right they can start biking to work and we'll have a beautiful parking lot for you."
The lot is expected to be finished by the beginning of next week.
