Worth County, IA-A north Iowa man will be sentenced after a judge determines he's guilty of sexually abusing his wife. Judge James Drew issued his verdict Friday in the case of Tyler Wirtjes of Manly. The judge determined Wirtjes performed a sex act while his wife was passed out after drinking too much. The crime happened in early December of 2010. A sentencing date isn't yet set. He is guilty of two counts of Third Degree Sexual Abuse. Wirtjes' wife never woke up and was pronounced dead the next day. Though there was a high amount of alcohol in her system at the time, the cause of death is officially undetermined.
