MASON CITY, IA - A new Manpower study is showing unemployment is worst than last year, but still better than recent months. A

Tony Buhr of manpower says they are hopeful. "I think it's a good sign that things are improving but like i said we're still not out of the woods yet. "

Buhr says these numbers also show some companies are still hesitant to higher, but people already employed are generally keeping their jobs.
