Mason City, IA- Some petite poodles are settling into their new digs. We told you a couple of months ago about Benny and Lannie. The two were found wandering in Charles City. They were in rough shape.
The Humane Society of North Iowa claims it's some of the worst animal neglect they've ever seen. Thanks to generous community donations, the dogs are back in good health and are going home together to a brand new family.
Sybil Soukup of the Humane Society of North Iowa tells us, "The community helped us pay for that veterinarian work. And now you can see the result of all that hard work and effort. They're much different dogs and they've got a ways to go, but they're going to be in a great home now."
Monica and Kelly are the new adoptive family and are excited to give the pair a better life.
