Mason City, IA-An area man is back in jail after escaping from custody.
Mason City Police say they found James Fransen at a Mason City home Saturday night. They say he had been missing from the Beje Clark residential center in Mason City since last week. He did get permission to leave but did not return.
During the arrest, Sergeant David Houser says fransen got into a fight with officers. Houser says they used a taser. The officers suffered minor injuries. Fransen is accused of interfering with official acts.
