MASON CITY, IA-The Iowa Senate Majority whip is touring North Iowa Area Community College's Mason City Campus.
Majority whip Tom Courtney of Burlington is an Iowa Economic Development Board member and is touring NIACC's Economic Development and Job training efforts.
Senator Amanda Ragan and Representative Sharon Steckman had invited the majority whip to come see the progress in North Iowa.
V.P of Pappajohn Entrep. Center Jaime Zanios said, "this doesn't exist in all community colleges this is but this is a model that needs nurturing and we can help train other community colleges across the state of Iowa that's what we're interested in is iowa north iowa and the rest of Iowa.
The tour group spent a lot of time discussing the wind mill department as well.
