MASON CITY, IA--The Iowa State Patrol is confirming the identity of a third person in a vehicle that rolled near Kensett on Sunday.

The Patrol said his name is Joseph Dedic, 24, from Mason City.

He escaped unharmed, when the Jeep Grand Cherokee flipped into a ditch.

But Jedidiah Graham, 26 of Mason City was killed when the vehicle landed on top of him.

Graham's brother, Jordan, 23, survived the wreck.

Investigators are trying to figure out if Jedidiah Graham was outside or inside of the vehicle at the time of the wreck.

They are investigating the possibility that some car surfing was going on.

That is when someone rides on the hood or top of a moving vehicle for a thrill.

A celebration of Jed's life is planned for Thursday morning.

It will begin at 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Mason City.
