ALBERT LEA, Minn. -- The recent snow fall has a local group jumping into action.
Albert Lea’s Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Group is busy helping military families with snow removal.
Besides snow removal, the organization offers many services to help military families in need.
Officials say with all the snow lately, they want to make sure the families are taken care of.
“Naturally, the wives work too and they have young kids so we want to make sure their able to get out, get their kids to school,” Chairman John Severtson said.
The group is aimed to help families of any service member in any branch of the military.
Severtson says they are currently looking for volunteers to help with snow removal.
