HANLONTOWN, IA- A North Iowa town might be the next to lose its post office.City leaders in Hanlontown will be discussing the situation at a meeting with Postal Service leaders tomorrow night. They are urging neighbors to attend, ask questions, and bring up any other possibilities they may have.
Talk of closing post offices is happening in smaller communities all over the area.
Mayor Rick Scholbrock said, "There's so many different options and we've got to look at them, see what could best fit the community. We want to make it as good for the community as we possibly can, we don't want to make it difficult for anybody."
The meeting is Tuesday night at 6:30pm at the community center in Hanlontown.
