Charles City, IA- A Floyd County charity is on the move.
The Food Box in Charles City is moving to a location at 102 Main Street.
The Jordan River Church is now taking over the food pantry. They're hoping to open up next week complete with a community kitchen.
Pastor Debra Lincoln is taking over as the director of the service. She says the building is better suited than the old one.
"It is move-in ready, we have some painting and stuff to do, the location is wonderful for people to gain access we'll be running the food box from the back side," said Lincoln.
Jordan River is turning the front part of the building into a church.
