ALBERT LEA, MN--Hundreds packed the auditorium at Albert Lea High School in support of a good cause Saturday.

It marks the fourth time the local chapter of the American Red Cross is hosting ‘Dancing with the Freeborn County stars’.
Eight couples competed.  Local stars are paired with dancers from a local dance studio.

Attendees can donate money for their favorite dancers. The winner is determined by the amount they raise and judges' scores.

“The money that we raise stays here in Freeborn County and is used to fund our programs here locally for disaster response, for education,” said Steve Bonine, the disaster chair for the Freeborn chapter of the American Red Cross.

Bonine says the show has sold out the last two years. That's why this year they're having two shows: one in the afternoon and one in the evening.
