CORWITH, IA---A Hancock County woman is dead after her car is hit by a truck.
The crash happened just before 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of County Roads R26 and B55, which is just East of Corwith.
The Iowa State Patrol said a Freightliner Semi driven by Allen James Enabnit, 46, of Clear Lake was Northbound on R26 and failed to stop for a stop sign.
The truck collided with a Toyota Celica driven by Amy lynn Hefty, 27, of Corwith, who was Westbound on B55.
Enabnit is listed in fair condition at a Mason City hospital.
