Clear Lake's Chamber of Commerce estimates more than 50-thousand people attended the weekend's events. Right now, they don't just how much money it generated but organizers say they're hearing good things from local business owners. They believe more people are looking to stay closer to home.
"A lot of people aren't travelling quite as far with different things, you know, you hear about the economy all the time but there vacationing close to home and the people that are not very far away are discovering clear lake all over again," Alice Hanley, organizer.
Hanley says the event grows every year. In the past, they've pumped around $10 million into the local economy.
