IONIA, IA--A Chickasaw County man is dead after he is hit while walking on a road.

The Iowa State Patrol said a car driven by Brady Rausch, 18, struck David Becker, 52, on Cheyenne Road, near Highway 18, in the Ionia area.

It happened just after 10:30 p.m. Saturday night.

Both men are from Ionia.

There is no word about any possible charges.
