AUSTIN, MN--
The men's quartet from Pacelli High School spent part of the day spreading St. Patrick's Day cheer around Austin. They say they delivered 20 or so singing patty grams. There were two choices of songs: ‘my wild Irish rose’ or ‘where Irish eyes are smiling’.
“We had a lot of smiles, a lot of laughs and you know we had all types of people...where it could be you know young, middle aged to the elderly, you know we just had a really fun time,” said Michael Bergstrom, a senior in the singing group.
Bergstrom says patty grams were $20 each. He says the proceeds go to the Pacelli music department.
