Businesspeople interested in making agriculture more environmentally friendly are being encouraged to stop by Osage on Tuesday.The Iowa State Extension office in Osage is hosting a bio economy conference on December first.
The office's education director says the gathering will focus on reducing agriculture's carbon footprint. “Really if there's a way a person wants to hear some nationally known speakers talking about a highly important topic for agriculture this is the place and time to do it,” said Neil Wubben, the ISU education director for Floyd and Mitchell counties.
Neil Wubben says anyone can attend the session.
There is a $5 registration fee.
