MASON CITY,IA-One of the oldest churches in Mason City might lose it's bell tower.The bell tower at First Baptist Church is falling down.
But the congregation is trying to keep that from happening.
It will come at a pretty hefty price, so they are trying to raise money.
They'll have a chili lunch to start things off.
Church member Troy Levenhagen says, "we'd let the public know that we have a little problem here at the church with our bell tower. We wanted to raise some funds. So we invite the public, community churches and anyone who wants a good lunch and fellowship."
The lunch will be Sunday from noon to three.
