MASON CITY, IA--
Roughly one hundred mourners turned out Saturday to remember long time broadcaster Al Heinz.They honored the longtime KGLO radio and television announcer at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Heinz was the station's longtime farm director and signed off the airwaves for the last time in 1998.
The 87-year old died last month at his winter home in Weslaco, Texas.
