MASON CITY,IA-Technology is changing the way many of us do our jobs.
It's even changing the agriculture business.
High tech tractors are making farming much more precise and easier for operators to use.
Everything from how the machine runs to what guides it, has made for lower inputs and higher returns.
It's something farmers in the area are taking advantage of.
Precision Farming Specialist Tony Heldorfer says, “A lot of them are looking to the technology and seeing how it can make an operation more efficient for them. With our newer technology today, we can save the customer you know a good two to three gallons an hour.”
Heldorfer says because of the amount of money these machines allow farmers to save in other areas, the tractor often proves well worth the cost over time.
