OSAGE, IA - Community members and alumni are trying to keep a North Iowa school from shutting its doors.
Last week, school officials at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Osage were talking about closing the school down after the 2011-2012 year. School officials explained it’s because their enrollment numbers are low.
But now, folks in the area say they can keep the 54-year-old school open by sending letters to the Archdiocese in Dubuque.
The letters have to get there by 4 p.m. Friday. Follow the link for more information.
