MASON CITY, IA - After Wednesday's rainfall, it might be easy to think that fires no longer are a threat but burn bans still remain in effect for some Iowa and Minnesota Counties.
According to the Iowa State Fire Marshal's website, only Franklin County has cancelled their burn ban.
In Minnesota, Freeborn, Mower, Waseca and Steele Counties lifted their burn ban on Thursday.
