Vegetable Flowers

 

Ingredients

Radish slices

Fresh spinach leaves

Cucumber rounds

Cherry tomatoes

Celery sticks

Baby carrots

 

Instructions

Set out vegetables. Let your children design their own flowers. If desired, offer a side of ranch for dipping.

Bunny Salad

 

Ingredients

Pear halves (fresh or canned)

Cottage cheese

Raisins

Lettuce leaf

Almonds (whole or slivered)

Baby carrots

Parsley sprigs

 

Instructions

Place a piece of lettuce on a plate with half a pear on top. Add two raisins for the eyes and one for the nose on the narrow end of the pear. Next put two almonds on for ears and a few slivers of carrot for whiskers. Put a spoonful of cottage cheese behind the pear for a tail. Add some baby carrots and parsley for the bunny’s treat.

Nut Butterfly

 

Ingredients

Nut butter (peanut butter, almond butter, soy butter)

Apple

Carrot

 

Instructions

Cut apple slices into quarters and arrange into the shape of a butterfly’s wings. Add a trimmed carrot stick for the body.
