HANLONTOWN, IA - Emergency workers are dealing with an anhydrous ammonia leak in Hanlontown Saturday night.

First-responders reported rinse water, which was stored at a grain elevator, leaked onto the ground.  They told KIMT News 3 the wind is blowing in a favorable direction, and as of now they aren't planning to evacuate anyone.

Iowa State Patrol and Clear Lake firefighters are on the scene.  They called in a hazard mitigation representative from Mason City, and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources was on the way as of 9:00 PM Saturday.
