Tyler Mickelson

Tyler Mickelson joined the KIMT News team in March of 2011.

Tyler grew up a true country boy living on a farm in Keyeser, Wisconsin. After graduating from Columbus High School, Tyler crossed the border and attended Southwest Minnesota State University where he graduated with a degree in Speech Communication and also played 5 years of football.

Prior to his arrival at KIMT, Tyler worked at KRTV in Great Falls, Montana as a Morning Anchor/Producer and weekday Reporter. Tyler also interned at WisconsinEye Public Affairs Network in Madison, Wisconsin where he specialized in capitol coverage.

When he's not at work, Tyler can be found outdoors fishing, biking or roller blading with his fiance Kristine. Tyler is excited to be back in the Midwest and can't wait to experience all that Iowa has to offer.
