Beth Tuttle
Reporter

Beth Tuttle joined the KIMT News 3 team in September of 2009.

She grew up in Minnetonka MN. Her dad was in "the biz" so she grew up around the news room and always knew that she would end up in broadcast.

In high school she wrote for the newspaper and was an anchor for the school announcements (which was not really news, but it was a start!).

Beth went to the University of Iowa for journalism and international studies and graduated in May 2009. While there she wrote for The Daily Iowan newspaper and worked at the TV station as a reporter and eventually producer and anchor.

In her senior year, she was the News Director for the college station. She loved spending all her time working in the news room and teaching new broadcast students.

Two summers ago, she had an amazing opportunity. She was an Olympic News Service reporter for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She spent over two months in Beijing studying Chinese culture and working for the Olympics. She covered tennis and had a chance to interview her favorite players like the Williams sisters, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

In her free time Beth likes reading, cooking comfort food and doing yoga and martial arts. Beth loves traveling, but is looking forward to finally staying in one place and calling it home. She is Minnesota born and Iowa educated so it is perfect that she ended up in Mason City working for KIMT.
